This rejuvenating weekend retreat is an invitation to step out of everyday life and into the quiet, grounding rhythm of the mountains. Over four days, you’ll be guided through a nourishing balance of movement, rest, and connection - both with yourself and with others - held within the peaceful alpine surroundings of Haus Spitzingsee.
Each morning begins with dynamic vinyasa yoga, designed to awaken the body, build strength, and create spaciousness through breath-led, mindful movement. These practices are both energizing and grounding, setting a clear, focused tone for the day ahead. In the late afternoons, Johanna will guide you through calming yoga flows and deeply restorative yin sessions, inviting you to soften, release tension, and settle into stillness.
Between yoga sessions, the mountains call you outdoors. Our guided hikes are led by Johanna, a professional mountain guide. Hikes are gentle and accessible, allowing us to enjoy nature at a relaxed pace. We walk together slowly, with plenty of pauses to take in panoramic views, breathe fresh mountain air, and savour the simple joy of being outside. The routes lead to nearby, low-key peaks and traditional alpine huts, where we share nourishing food.
Evenings are a time to gather in a relaxed, communal way - cooking and sharing meals, singing kirtan, and closing the day with guided yogic sleep (nidra). The spacious seminar room offers a warm, open setting for immersive yoga practices, while the simplicity of hut life supports a deeper sense of presence, ease, and connection.
