Weaving the Flow : Advanced Vinyasa Flow Sequencing Training

  • the Vinyasa People 1A Kaiserstraße Bonn, NRW, 53113 Germany (map)

This 2-day advanced training with Mie is designed for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of intelligent, creative, and purposeful Vinyasa sequencing. Moving beyond basic class structure, you’ll learn how to design well-balanced sequences that build progressively, support the body’s natural biomechanics, and guide students safely toward your teaching goals.

Throughout the training, you’ll explore practical frameworks for creating Vinyasa classes that feel fluid, focused, and cohesive. We’ll look at how to structure a class - from grounding and warm-up to peak posture and integration - while maintaining clarity and creativity in your teaching.

You’ll also develop strategies for linking postures with intention, refining transitions, and creating sequences that balance strength, mobility, and recovery.

In addition, the course explores how to work with themes, energy, and varying levels of intensity. You’ll learn how to adapt sequences for different students and settings, making your classes both accessible and appropriately challenging.

By the end of this Advanced Vinyasa Sequencing training, you will be able to:

  • Understand the principles of intelligent and progressive Vinyasa sequencing

  • Design classes that safely guide students from warm-up to peak pose and integration

  • Create balanced sequences that incorporate strength, mobility, stability, and recovery

  • Develop transitions that maintain a smooth and continuous flow

  • Apply biomechanics and functional movement principles to your sequencing

  • Build classes around themes, energetic intentions, or peak postures

  • Adapt sequences for different levels, body types, and abilities

  • Recognize potential injury risks and implement safer sequencing strategies

  • Teach cohesive and engaging Vinyasa classes with confidence and clarity

  • Cultivate a personal sequencing style that supports authentic teaching

The training includes:

  • Two in-person training days (4 hours each day)

  • Training materials

  • One personal feedback session with Mie on your sequencing

My hope is that you leave this training feeling truly confident in designing Vinyasa Flow classes that are not only thoughtful and inspiring, but that genuinely reflect who you are as a teacher - classes that support both the physical practice and a deeper sense of awareness.

This training is designed to support you in moving beyond memorized sequences and into a more intuitive, authentic approach to sequencing, so your teaching can remain fresh, meaningful, and deeply connected to your own voice.

Day 1 : Saturday, 19 September 14:00-18:00

  • Foundations and architecture of a Vinyasa Flow class

  • Peak pose sequencing

  • Intelligent transitions

  • Biomechanics and functional movement

Day 2: Sunday, 20 September 14:00-18:00

  • Thematic and energetic sequencing

  • Adapting and modifying sequences

  • Integration and teaching practice

This training will take place with a minimum number of 8 participants. The maximum number of participants is 20.
